Holy Spirit and the Community:

Don’t forget that next Sunday, May 18th is Worship Training day at Holy Spirit. There will be two sessions: 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Complete the Time & Talents survey (drop it off to the office if you haven’t yet) and then come to free training sessions for areas of interest. We’ll be training acolytes, altar guild members, communion assistants, lectors and more. Contact Shelly Holtquist with questions.

 

On behalf of the Church in Society Committee, I would like to submit a formal Thank You to all who helped to make the CROP WALK fundraising event a success. At last count, a little more than $300.00 was donated and many contributed food and labor. , thank you.
Hopefully next year's CROP WALK will be even more successful!

May 17th is the day slated for: Thrivent Day at The Build. This is Thrivent’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Jay Edwards, our Thrivent Rep, is looking for volunteers to help with two homes in Pontiac.
